Aleksandr is a corporate finance and management consulting professional with over 15 years of experience assisting both start-ups and established organizations in shaping and redefining their strategies and cultures, driving digital transformation, and enhancing decision-making around M&A and corporate finance practices.
During his experience, Aleksandr has worked with governments and organizations operating in the Caucasus, Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

He has worked with almost all sectors of the economy while specializing in technology, media and telecom (TMT), financial services, real estate, energy and natural resources sectors.
Aleksandr is a Partner, Head of Advisory at BDO in Armenia and Chairperson of the Board of the Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia.

Aleksandr advocates for corporate governance, ESG, and diversity. He is an experienced executive, board, and committee leader. He is a frequent speaker, moderator, and panelist at conferences and events, lending his expertise to shape discussions and facilitate insights within his sectors of expertise.
Aleksandr holds an MBA from Said Business School, University of Oxford, Ph.D. in Economics from Armenian State University of Economics. He has participated in various training programs, including but not limited to the Digital Transformation course by IE University, and the European Board Diploma program of the European Confederation of Board Member Associations (EcoDa).
