AIoD Appoints Armenuhy Hovakimyan as Chief Executive Officer
Yerevan, Armenia — September 2025. The Armenian Institute of Directors (AIoD) announces the appointment of Armenuhy Hovakimyan as Chief Executive Officer. She will lead AIoD’s next chapter of growth, strengthening director education, board effectiveness, and governance advisory across Armenia and the wider region.
Hovakimyan brings more than two decades of experience in capital markets. She began her career at the Armenian Stock Exchange (later Nasdaq Armenia), progressing to business development roles at Nasdaq Armenia and the Central Depository of Armenia, and holds a Master of Economics from Yerevan State University. She continues to serve as Deputy Secretary General of the Federation of Euro-Asian Capital Markets (FEAS) and is active in financial education, including high-school finance teaching with a dedicated curriculum and IB-certified Business Management instruction.
