
AIoD Newly Elected Board

Following the General Assembly of Armenian Institute of Directors (AIoD) held on August 29, 2025, the members of AIoD elected the new composition of its Board and welcomes the continued contribution of its members to the Institute’s mission of advancing corporate governance standards in Armenia.
The new and continuing members of the AIoD Boards are:

Vahan Kerobyan - Board Member
Elena Khachvankyan serves as Chair of the AIoD Supervisory Board. She brings deep expertise in public finance, policy, and corporate governance, having built her career across the private sector and international consultancy. She serves on the Council of ID Bank as a member and contributes to the Bank’s Risk, Audit, and Compliance Committee.
Arsen Nazaryan holds over twenty-five years of experience in the legal and regulatory domain and is recognized for facilitating cooperation among public authorities, international organizations, business, and civil society.
Hagen Schweinitz serves as Founder and Chairman of Charvet & Cie., a board advisory firm focused on the recruitment and evaluation of non-executive directors and C-level executives. He previously led the global board and governance advisory practice at Eric Salmon & Partners and held senior roles at Korn Ferry, following an early career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Dr. Hasmik Ghahramanyan has served on the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia since September 13, 2019, contributing to the development and implementation of monetary and macroeconomic policy and bringing extensive expertise in financial stability and research. She has chaired national efforts in financial education.
Dr. Konstantin Saroyan holds the position of Secretary General of the Federation of Euro-Asian Capital Markets, where he leads collaboration among stock exchanges and central securities depositories across Europe, Asia, Middle East and the Mediterranean basin countries. He contributes as a board member to multiple organizations, including the Fund for Rural Economic Development of Armenia, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, and ETS Commodity Exchange.
Sona Hovhannisyan is a business and management consultant and long-standing member of the Armenian Institute of Directors, currently advising multiple organizations and holding a chief operating officer role in the healthcare sector.
Tamara Martirosyan is a Partner at Andersen Legal Armenia. She built her career within the firm from junior associate to partner, advising international franchises, local companies, and start-ups on transactions, corporate, and business law.
Vahagn Sahakyan serves as Managing Partner of BDO Armenia, leading the firm since 2016 and specializing in financial reporting, auditing standards, and corporate governance.
Vahan Kerobyan is Co-Founder and Executive Director of VS Capital Partners and leads the Mantashyants 100 Platform within the Mantashyants Business Club. He previously served as the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia (November 2020–February 2024). Mr. Kerobyan participates in a range of professional and business associations.

Leveraging broad expertise in public finance, capital markets, governance advisory, law, and corporate leadership, the Board will guide AIoD in executing its strategy and embedding international standards of corporate governance across Armenia and the wider region.
